Go on, go on, go on… Oxfam Ireland calls on the tea drinkers of Ireland to swap to Fairtrade tea
Did you know that less than 2% of tea sold in Ireland is Fairtrade? Many big name brands in other categories (like Starbucks coffee and Cadbury Dairy Milk) have made the switch to Fairtrade – but most of Ireland’s tea manufacturers lag behind. So take action! Check out www.oxfamireland.org/fairtrade and ask Irish tea companies to switch to Fairtrade. Tell them you want them to support tea workers by switching their tea to Fairtrade.
