This is a topic I’ve spoken about a lot over the last year. The word thanks is approaching irrelevance for me. In most cases it’s a must-follow-social-convention-and-cover-my-arse statement.

It doesn’t have to be a grand deed, or even time sensitive, just something you invest personal time in.
